Smokehouse Creek Fire Survivors

The survivors of the Smokehouse Creek Fire have a very short window of time to recover for their fire-related injuries and damages.

The Smokehouse Creek Fire is the largest wildfire in Texas history. It was caused by a power line after a pole that “appeared to be decayed at the base” fell into an area that was grassy, according to a Texas A&M Forest Service Investigator.

The fire started February 26th 2024, and the fire is ongoing as of March 13th 2024. This fire has spanned over 1.2 million acres. It has been devastating to cattle ranches, killing thousands of cattle and other animals, and has killed at least 2 people, as reported by the New York Times.

The attorneys of the Wildfire Strong Team have a proven track record of zealously pursuing claims on behalf of families and businesses that have been affected by wildfires caused by utility companies.
